February was a month of intense searching and experimentation for me.  This morning I had the opportunity to visit the home and studio of Liz and Al Stiene, where I purchased a few papers and artists boards.  I intend to begin mounting some of my watercolors on boards, rather than exhibiting them under glass.  I have spent hundreds of dollars on a variety of art supplies, papers, new mediums, and even a glue pot to melt wax to create watercolor batiks on rice paper.

As I continue to search for my unique voice and my purpose in creating art, I am hopeful that the time and money that I have put into my newest works will put me closer to my goal of my first show in SC.
